About Me                                                 


Nicole Slade is a Yoga Therapist registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and the Canada Yoga Alliance (CYA-YT).  She completed her yoga teacher training at the Fernwood Yoga Den and Ajna Yoga Therapy College in Victoria. 

Yoga is a powerful practice of restoring balance to the body and mind. Nicole teaches studio classes, small groups, and private sessions to persons of all ages and capabilities in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga.  Nicole specializes in teaching people with injuries and chronic conditions, and those wishing to improve posture, prevent injury, and use yoga to complement their athletic training.  As a Yoga Instructor, Nicole does not diagnosis or treat mental or physical health conditions.  Yoga instruction focuses on improving overall health, decreasing pain, and avoiding injury. 


Nicole completed the 650 hour Ayurvedic Health Counsellor Training at the Kripalu Centre in Western Massachusetts.  Ayurveda is a system of traditional medicine that seeks to restore balance to the body, senses, mind, and soul.  Nicole offers private consultations, as well as public workshops in Ayurveda.

Yoga and Ayurveda are excellent tools to help us restore balance to our lives.
