Yin Yoga is a slower practice that takes you deep into the body by applying healthy stress on the deepest, most yin tissue in our body: the joints and bones. Yin Yoga also creates deep releases in the fascial tissue: a fuzz-like covering that encases our muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, blood vessels and nerves. Fascial releases are often accompanies by a profound sense or relaxation in the body and mind as patterns of chronic tension begin to let go.
