Gentle Hatha/Yin Yoga at The Yoga Practice in West Vancouver

This class features traditional Hatha yoga postures and breathing exercises to stretch and strengthen the body at the beginning of class, ending with longer held yin postures.  Yin Yoga is a slower practice that takes you deep into the body by applying healthy stress on the deepest, most yin tissue in our body: the joints and bones.  Yin Yoga also creates deep releases in the fascial tissue: a web-like covering that encases our muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, blood vessels and nerves.  Fascial releases are often accompanied by a profound sense or relaxation in the body and mind as patterns of chronic tension begin to let go.  

Suitable for all levels and persons with injuries.  Please inform the teacher of any injuries prior to class commencing.
